Would laser, mimicking needling, be more effective around the lips, chin,eyes and jowl area than fillers? If so, what sort of laser?How long do results last?

Swelling from the micro needling will last at least several days. The injury that is caused to the skin needs several days to heal. Make sure that you are moisturizing and protecting the skin during this time to maximize the healing potential. Best of luck.

Hi @wolfie123! I would recommend good skincare and IPL for sun damage. Also, please don't forget to wear daily sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30. Best of luck, Dr. Nima!

At our practice we use both RF microneedling and PRP.  When used together it is the Vampire Facial.  I think you get the best result when you combine both.  The microneedling will stimulate collagen and the PRP will make that process faster and more complete! Good luck.

Thank you for your question.  Microneedling is usually good for the fine lines in the peri-oral area but not for the deeper nasolabial or marionette lines.  Those are better served with fillers.
