Will laser help to dissolve Radiesse in the nose?

Thank you for your question. I am sorry you are not having a good outcome with your filler. There really is not a way to dissolve this type of filler. However, there is sodium thiosulfate that might possibly be able to remove it but there aren't studies enough to support it. Radiesse will gradually dissolve on it's own but can take some time.

Radiesse is technically irreversible however, some success has been seen using kenalog and/or radio frequency treatments treatments to help break down the product quicker. I recommend scheduling a formal consult with a board certified cosmetic dermatologist or plastic surgeon. I appreciate your question and I’m sorry you are not happy with the results of Radiesse treatment. Unfortunately, there is no way to dissolve Radiesse as this product is formulated with different ingredients than most fillers. I encourage you to schedule an in-person assessment with a board-certified dermatologist who is also an expert in liquid rhinoplasty for additional assessment and possible treatment recommendations.

Unfortunately, a laser will not help dissolve the Radiesse injected to your nose.  You should return to your doctor and have him/her call the company to discuss your problem and possible solutions.

Sorry you are not having good results with your filler.  Radiesse is much different than the hyaluronic acid fillers and there is not a good way to reverse it that has been studied extensively.  There is one product, sodium thiosulfate, that may be helpful, but I would be careful letting someone inject that since it is not supported by any large studies yet.  Lasers have no effect on fillers.  The Radiesse will gradually dissipate on its own, but it can take quite a bit of time.  Best of luck!

Laser will have no effect on the Radiesse in the nose. Consider using sodium thiosulfate for dissolving the Radiesse. This has been shown to dissolve Radiesse in animal models and there are some case reports of using in humans.

Sodium Thiosulfate can be used to dissolve Radiesse. I would see a dermatologist and inquire about this with someone skilled and knowledgable about this. 

Hi, thanks for your question and sorry to hear you’re unhappy with your results. Laser can’t be used to dissolve any cosmetic injectables and unfortunately, Radiesse cannot be reversed. You will have to wait for your body to break the Radiesse down naturally which can take approximately 12-18 months. Any physician using Radiesse should disclose the fact that it can’t be dissolved like hyaluronic acid fillers can.
