I tattooed my eyebrows 12 years ago, & decided to get laser tattoo removal. Immediately after my 1st session, the tattoo disappeared! A few hours later however, it reappeared again, but to a red-brown color. The clinician advised that this is due to the ink containing titanium & shouldn't be a problem removing in future sessions. I'd like second opinions & to know if my tattoos will continue to fade. I have attached photos before removal, immediately after 1st session, & a few hours later.

Answer: Laser Tattoo Removal of Eyebrows Laser removal of tattooed makeup can be particularly challenging because the inks used are different than the ink for body or decorative tattoos . Often times the patient (and the person applying the tattoo makeup) don't have a good idea of the exact ingredients in the ink. Many of the inks used in tattooed makeup contain iron, which when lasered can oxidize and turn the tattoo into a rusty brown or black color. With many repeated laser treatments this oxidized pigment can fade over time, but it will likely take several treatments.

Answer: Eyebrow tattoo When removing cosmetic ink, whether it is on the lips or the eyebrows or anywhere else, it usually changes to a different color. So what you are experiencing is completely normal. Black ink usually turns into a brown orange color. Red ink actually turns black. This is not the same for body tattoo ink. However this is typically seen for cosmetic tattooing used on eyebrows lips eyeliner etc.
