I was 115kg at 165 cm by the age of 18 and i'm 31 now and weighting 82 kg's with 16 % body fat. My question is regarding lower body lift and if body weight is affected after the procedure. so I was wandering if after the procedure your body is affected by chemical imbalance given the invasive nature of the procedure causing weight to be gained much quicker if healthy eating is not in place for example during festive seasons, occasions, etc... and if its hard to lose weight afterwards. Thanks.
Answer: Body lift After almost 20 years of performing body lifts, I have found that each person's skin and soft tissue differ after losing significant amounts of weight. In general, more skin and less fat gives much better results with a body lift than an area that still has significant amounts of fat. To answer your question about the affect of holiday food binging...I have found that an occasional indulgence does not significantly affect weight so long as it's only occasionally and does not become a habit. It's important to understand long term results rather than a weekend result, or the immediate post operative results of a body lift vs. the long term results.A body lift is an amazing procedure for the right person and performed by someone with experience.Hope that helps

Answer: After your body lift, you will still need to eat correctly Hello 3abas, thank you for your question and for providing yourhistory. After your body lift, you will still need to eat correctly andexercise routinely. It is not easier to gain weight after a body lift. Thereare no medical studies which show “chemical imbalances” that causesignificant increased weight gain after a lower body lift. If you are agood surgical candidate, I would suggest you get the 360 body lift. After the body lift, you will have to continue your exercise routine andconsuming nutritious foods. You are still allowed to “celebrate” duringthe festive seasons, but as with everything else, it should be done inmoderation. If you have any questions feel free to contact my office. Good luck.Sincerely,J. Timothy Katzen, M.D

Answer: Lower body lift and weight shifting. Will you gain weight quicker after the procedure? Thank you very much for your question; however, a body lift does not affect your ability to gain or lose weight. A body lift is simply a surgical procedure in which skin and fat are removed from specific areas. Removing the excess skin and fat from your body will in no way alter your metabolic processes, which are inherent to your unique DNA and body type. The fat cells that are removed from your body lift will not return. Once the fat cells are removed, unless you become morbidly obese, will not return at any point in your lifetime. Fat cells are only replaced as they die away, but the actual number of fat cells in your body will remain constant during your life.

Answer: Body Lift My experience is patients usually continue to lose weight. The body lift I do includes tightening of the abdominal wall which reduces abdominal girth and ability to super fill up. Erratic eating is not good or recommended. Get a board certified registrar plastic surgeon to help you. see patient #80302 at bottom of referenced page. Good luck...
