Going swimming will not reduce the swelling after your juvederm treatment. I would not recommend immersing your face into a pool until 24 hours after your treatment as you need time for your fresh injections to heal. I would recommend applying ice periodically to the area that was injected for up to 48 hrs to reduce the swelling. Filler takes two weeks to fully settle and for swelling to subside.
My suggestion would be to wait 24 hours prior to immersing you face in water. 24 hours is satisfactory time wait to allow any of the needle puncture sites to close. As far as the effects on swelling, I think you would be better off applying cold compresses. Good Luck
There would not be a problem swimming after a Juvederm treatment but I do not believe it would have any affect on facial swelling from the injection.
If the asymmetry isn't gone yet, an injection of a HA dissolving agent can be used. Often an early lump is from a hematoma and will resolve over a week or two
Thank you for your question. Yes, you can have a thermalift 2 weeks post Juvederm. Ensure you are working with an experienced board certified plastic surgeon for this procedure. Best,
Thank you for your question. The choice is entirely up to you. Nurse injectors can be just as skillful as anyone else. Consider a consultation with the nurse first to meet him/ her and ensure you feel comfortable. Best,
