I did a hair transplant 3 weeks ago in Istanbul. I had 3200 grafts done. I've been doing research for over a year and I know that most doctors don't recommend doing a hair transplant if you are under 30. But what's the point in doing it when you are already bald? What if I go even balder and have bald patches? What do I do then? I'm just scared that I made a mistake. Has anyone else done a hair transplant at this age? What happened later? Here are the results after 3 weeks.
Answer: Making A Hair Transplant Mistake It is quite true that with younger patients, there is a high likelihood that hair will continue to shed. Therefore, it is important for doctors to carefully plan out the course of the procedure. An important consideration would be the amount of donor hair that could be used if additional surgeries (for repair) are needed. If the patient has enough quantities of usable body hair, non-head hair extractions may offer an additional reserve of donor grafts to address the issue of continued (native)hair loss.Due to the sharp angles at which body hair tends to grow, these follicles are prone to damage from regular cylindrical FUE punches. Therefore, it is necessary to choose a body hair transplant specialist who is experienced at producing quality outcomes.

Answer: Maybe Mistake or not, what is done is done. If you are bald there may be not much more hair to lose but there may be shock hair loss around the area you have hair. There may be other issues with your particular case. In the mean time, follow up with your doctor and follow your doctor's post-op instructions. Results will come in 6 to 12 months.

Answer: We generally wait a full year to assess results After only 3 weeks, it is still very early to evaluate results from a hair transplant procedure. We generally wait a full year to assess results. There is no firm age, but it is better to wait until you are older before undergoing a hair transplant so the surgeon has a better idea of the balding pattern and extent of baldness. This will help in formulating a plan that will be aesthetically pleasing long term. Hair loss medications, such as Propecia, are very effective in maintaining your current hair, thus allowing us to be more comfortable in performing a hair transplant in someone of your age.
