Are there any procedures to reduce the malar fat pads? (Photo)

Question

I would like to know if it is possible to cut down the malar fat pad or to completely remove it. I am not referring to the buccal fat pad but to the fat pad located higher. I did not find many informations about it. But I could see that RF Technology would help. How does it work? In the picture I have attached, it is the letter B or J. Thank you for your answers.

Malat fat pads are fat compartments that are on top of the cheek bones and help the face to achieve a youthful facial look. Patiens with enlarged malar fat pads usually have elevated BMI ( body mass index) since the increase in size along the rest of the body with weight gain. Weight loss by decreasing the overall body fat content should make the malar fat pads smaller.

Treatment of ‘chubby cheeks’ cannot be achieved alone with buccal fat pad removal; a fact that I encounter time and time again when seeing patients in consultation for lower facial sculpting. The combined approach is ideal. Buccal fat pad removal is a exceptional procedure that can remove excess fat from the cheek pads. Using an intraoral approach, a small incision is carried through the mucosa to remove a small fat pad within the cheek. Closure of the incisions is minimal with an absorbable suture and patients will experience some swelling post-operatively. We use SwellX tablets post treatment.
