I had a hair transplant Sunday a week ago. On Saturday I still had a lot of dried blood lying on top of the hairs and started gently helping them out with my nails. I felt no pulling, there was no discomfort or fresh blood, but some hairs came attached to the dried blood. Some things I read here worried me. Could the grafts come out six days after transplant, this easily, and only look like hairs attached to dried blood?

Answer: It is best to contact your doctor about post operative care and instructions since each doctor has a different regimen.
If you are having hair loss and would like to understand why and receive treatment options it is best to see a doctor for an examination. Most common cause of hair loss in men is genetic male pattern balding.
You should see your surgeon right away. Without any pictures its very difficult to tell what exactly is going on. Severe dead skin across the scalp is not a normal side effect of hair transplantation that we see. Some minor dry skin is normal from time-to-time, but your case sounds more severe....

Hairline lowering is possible but it needs to be surgically planned to look natural. The outline you have drawn is not realistic so you would not be a candidate for hair transplant surgery
