I need to find a doctor who would accept to do a hairline as shown in the pictures. I do not want to have a mature hairline. Some men in my family who are 50 years old have this NW1 hairline & It looks amazing, so please do not tell me that it will not look natural as I get older. The black lines are what I want and in blue what I don't want. I am looking for a hairline as shown with the model. My main goal is to get rid of my temple recession. My forehead should look smaller as well.

If you are considering a cosmetic surgery it would be in your interest to see a doctor for an examination to make sure you would be a candidate.  The line you drew may be too ambitious where the surgery may not meet your expectations.

Hi and thanks for your question and photos.  Your black line for a new hairline is very aggressive and low.  This would not be a good plan as you would be depleting a major portion of your donor hairs to achieve this and you may not have any more donor hairs to take care of future hair loss.  A better plan would be to take care of your temple recession and lower your hairline to a lesser degree that would look good and still allow for taking care of future losses.  Good luck.  Dr. Pontell

A great first step would be an online consultation. Often you can submit photos to top hair restoration surgeons for a complimentary evaluation. This should help lead you in the right direction. Having multiple consultations with different doctors cannot hurt.

The blue line is closer to a realistic hairline. It's true that some men have very low hairlines and small foreheads like your black line and they do look good, but we're doctors and we have to be responsible with your donor hair. It would take a lot of grafts to lower your hairline to the black line and you might need those grafts in the future.

Hairline lowering is possible but it needs to be surgically planned to look natural. The outline you have drawn is not realistic so you would not be a candidate for hair transplant surgery

To find out where your hairline belongs, take a look at yourself in the mirror with your hair pulled back and your eyebrows lifted high so that your forehead creases. That tells me what are the anatomic point that allows me to determine the proper place of the hair line. A mature hairline belongs in finger breadth above the highest crease of the furrowed brow. With such pictures, I can then assess reasonable expectations and then, if agreed upon, do a hair transplant
