Can A&D ointment be used instead of vaseline on laser age spots?

Thank you for your question.  It is best to use vasaline on a wound after a procedure.  Vasaline has been shown to improve healing of the wound and has a very low risk for an allergic reaction or irritation.  A&D ointment has more ingredients that could cause an allergic reaction or irritation to the wound that could look like an infection.  I recommend only using vasaline to avoid these complications.
