I had a consultation today with a doctor that told me I would need at least 6mls of radiesse for both cheeks and my chin. I don't have any major wrinkles or anything, but I want some volume in my nasolabial fold area, cheekbones, and volume for a more prominent chin. I was thinking 6mls is a lot for a 23 year old (I have decent fat in my face)? For 6 mls, he was charging around 3,000 CAD. In this case, is 1 ml adequate to 1 syringe?
Answer: How much Radiesse is needed? Thank you for sharing your question, but without seeing you in person or at least evaluating you through a photograph it is not possible to judge your requirements. It seems like a lot of filler. Get a second opinion from experienced facial doctor. Good luck,

Answer: Amount of Radiesse in a syringe Radiesse comes in two syringe sizes, 1.5 cc and 0.8 cc. It is hard to say which your doctor is recommending. Radiesse works well as a volumizer, particularly along the jawline in my opinion.

Answer: Size of Radiesse Filler Hi and thank you for your question! Size of Radiesse syringes can be a bit confusing as I have seen first-hand at my own practice! Radiesse comes in 2 sizes: 0.8 cc and 1.5 cc, and some physicians may round up the 0.8 cc version and call it "1 cc". It is hard to tell what is the recommended amount in your case without seeing you but you listed several areas and for a patient who is getting fillers in so many areas it is not uncommon at all to need this much filler. A reputable and experienced cosmetic doctor is equally interested and motivated as you to achieve good results as we all hope and try our hardest to turn everyone into long-term patients who will become advocates of our practice. Hence, rather that focusing on the exact amount of the filler (while it is important), I recommend that you focus on the skill level and expertise of your doctor and develop a trusting partnership with your doctor to see the best results. I hope it helps and good luck!

Answer: How much Radiesse for Nasolabial Folds- Lasers. Fraxel/Clear + Brilliant, RF like VIVA, Peels, Fillers, Skin Care, Face Lift The amount of Radiesse needed will vary due for each patient and desired results. Syringes come in 1.5cc and 0.8cc. If you have concerns about your intended treatment, I recommend following up with your injector. Cost will vary. I recommend a combination approach for nasolabial folds and cheeks. I recommend fillers for the folds themselves but also lifting around the mouth and cheeks to build underlying anatomical support. In our practice we combine sculptra with other fillers "layered" on top and lasers, rf treatments, J Plasma and peels to get the most conservative natural look. Please see a facial sculpting expert. Best, Dr. Emer

Answer: How many ml of Radiesse in one syringe? The amount of a filler, including Radiesse, used on a patient can vary. An examination of you could help in determining how much Radiesse might be best for you. I would say that 6mls does sound like a lot for a 23 year old. Radiesse syringes come in 2 sizes. One has 1.5cc and the other has 0.8cc. Four 1.5cc syringes would equal 6cc. 3000 CAD is a fair price for this amount. You could always try getting a second opinion to see if another doctor would recommend using less product.
