Iv had and extra nipple on my right breast since I was born. It's a bit smaller and placed right below my normal nipple. I hate it! I'm 20 years old iv have two kids and till this day I still feel very uncomfortable being naked around my husband. I want to get this surgically removed but I don't know how, or who to go to. Where would I start ?

It is not uncommon to have an extra nipple on the chest (anywhere from the groin area up towards the armpit) - in both women and men! They can be removed with a relatively easy procedure. Extra nipples (also known as accessory or supernumerary nipples) are not uncommon in both women and men. Commonly, they are found on a line know as the milk line which runs from the groin, through the normal nipple, to the arm pit. In most cases they are benign; however, if they are removed I would suggest having the nipple examined by a pathologist. The surgery to remove the nipple can usually be performed with just a local anesthetic. I would suggest you seek out a board certified plastic surgeon who routinely performs breast surgery.
