What can cause pain after root canals status post 1-2 years, tingling inside, referred pain, sore jaw, feels like blood pulsing?

Right after the root canal, I still had pain and had multiple procedures afterward to redo roots. After 2 root canals, I developed the symptoms listed above. My endodontist tested the teeth (not sensitive to cold, no pain on tapping). The X-rays look clear as well. However, I still have this tingling sensation/pain. He thinks it might be trigeminal neuralgia but it feels like the pain is coming from the root canal teeth. Could my symptoms be from some residual nerves left inside the root canal?
