Right after the root canal, I still had pain and had multiple procedures afterward to redo roots. After 2 root canals, I developed the symptoms listed above. My endodontist tested the teeth (not sensitive to cold, no pain on tapping). The X-rays look clear as well. However, I still have this tingling sensation/pain. He thinks it might be trigeminal neuralgia but it feels like the pain is coming from the root canal teeth. Could my symptoms be from some residual nerves left inside the root canal?

I would recommend seeing your dentist for an evaluation. Anytime you are having pain with a crown upon biting that isn't a good sign. Most likely the crown/tooth has been bothered by decay or potentially a crack over the years. I would recommend an x ray to see your dentist for...
