I got lipo done on March 30th on my abdomen, waist. I’m in my 5th week and my stomach looks lumpy. It doesn’t hurt that much and is still very tender but I still have a lot of the tightness. I would like to know if my stomach will eventually go back to a smooth look or did my Dr mess up somehow? What should I do? Im also not in the itchy phase. I’m itching alll in those areas. i was not big to begin with just a little bit of fat in those areas

Hello. Great question. I am sorry for your post op difficulties. At 5 weeks, you have yet to see your final results. There is still swelling present. Keep following your surgeon's post op instructions.

you likely will need a revision procedure but in the mean time i suggest compression garments, RF treatments and  lymphatic massage.  If not better in 12 weeks after surgery see a revision specialist.  Best, Dr. Emer.

At 5 weeks you are still fairly swollen and may be lumpy. continue to wear your compression garments and massage the area as instructed. Please discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
