Masturbation and sun after hair transplantation? 2 months post-op.

Dr. I've been doing hair transplant for 55 days and on a third day I was doing masturbation once a day every day. Is there any harm as a result of hair transplantation or not and I am taking vitamin pills and PRP injections but fearing that I do masturbation once every day?......and Does sun damage hair growth or not after 55 days and thank you .....

Hi there. I do not believe masturbation after a hair transplant will effect your results in any way. Sun damage, however, is not advised as it can damage the grafts and skin surrounding it. Hence my aftercare is to keep the transplanted area away from direct sunlight for 4 weeks.

there is no such relation with poor hair growth after hair transplant and mastrebation.....
However extensive sun exposure till 6 months after hair transplant is not recommended..

Masturbation is okay after hair transplantation however, exposing surgically traumatized skin to the Sun not okay after hair ttransplant as collagen is in a sensitive regeneration phase and can be more easily damaged.

Neither sex nor masturbation causes balding. Men's testicles make testosterone and this is metabolized into DHT, a male hormone 40 times as powerful as testosterone. When a person has genes for balding, the hormone DHT works with the gene to cause balding. The body makes an enzyme that allows for the manufacture of DHT and this enzyme can be blocked with the drug finasteride to often stop and possibly slow down the balding process because this DHT hormone production drops.
