I have an extra fold in my right eyelid that becomes red and irritated, with an obvious red crease and itchiness. What can I do?

i asked dermatologist about this problem and she said that I have an extra skin fold and that I should keep it dry . i have tried that., she also told me I could use a cream she prescribed for eczema skin issues. i thought perhaps Monistat cream may help since I reasoned it may be like a yeast infection. Any other suggestions? I am unable to wear eye shadow and when it flares up which is pretty always there is a crease of red irritated itchy skin
