Question

My ps office keeps telling me it's not infected and it will heal on its own. They told me just put vasoline on it so the gauze doesn't stick but every time I change the gauze it bleeds thick blood

Thank you for sharing your story with us and your photos.   Wound dehiscense is one of the tummy tuck complications.   Why this happened? One reason could be cigarettes,  others could be too much tension at the wound site or a inefficient wound closure.  However,  whatever it happened in your case there is not much you can do at this moment than what they're telling you.   Leave this for a second intention wound closure.   With the time you might need scar revision. Hello dear, thanks for your post and provided pictures as well. Is really important to see if you are laying down straight, if you are lifting or pulling heavy things. I recommend you to have a very closed communication with your PS, and talk about all your concerns, because he know the best your medical history and your process.Good luck
