Skin soo sensitive IT hurts soo Much It's 4iths since lipo of the waist Ian's abdomen approx 1.5 litres taken and ny stonach hurts ? Abdomen sending shock signals if hurts . I was told I have hernia in Lower groin and possibly above the belly button. I am soo discouraged

pain and swelling are common after the procedure but I have never had a patient in whom the pain lasted beyond 2 weeks. consult with your surgeon to make sure its all part of the healing.

Typical discomfort after liposuction is often described as muscle soreness and is typically resolved by five to seven days.When liposuction is done more aggressively, then patients will often have postoperative pain for longer.It is unusual for patients to experience postoperative pain for more than two weeks after liposuction.When adjuvants, such as heating-inducing lasers or ultrasound assistance, are used, then the period of discomfort can be lengthened.Hernias can often be detected by physical examination and sometimes be confirmed with a CT scan or MRI.Chronic postoperative pain is difficult to manage.Continue following up with your doctor.Hopefully he or she is a board-certified plastic surgeon.At this point, you may want to consider seeing a chronic pain management specialist.Be very careful of engaging in the long-term use of narcotic pain medication.Best of luck,Mats Hagstrom, M.D.
