Laser treatment for Livedo Reticularis (Photos)
I am a female who has been diagnosed with idiopathic livedo reticularis. I’ve been to dermatologists as well as vascular surgeons. I have had all of the blood work, biopsies, venous ultrasounds etc. and everything has come back negative. I've had the condition for at least 12 years and it has gotten progressively worse. I've been told there is no treatment for it, though I've read about effective laser therapy treatment; unfortunately it’s in the UK. https://www.eufoton.com/en/patients/phlebology/laser-treatments-of-capillaries-of-the-lower-limbs My condition is cosmetically hideous and embarrassing to the extent that I cannot comfortably show my lower legs. Of course this really affects my quality of life because my summer wardrobe and trips to the beach are nonexistent. I'm at the point that I hardly leave my house anymore and it’s very depressing. Does anyone know of any effective laser or other type of treatment here in the United States? You have to imagine I know all about the recommended courses of action on how not to make it worse and how to best keep it at bay. That’s not what I’m looking for. Thank you.
