Submentoplasty or Chin Implant with Lipo? (Photo)

Question

I have always been insecure about my neck and chin. However, I consulted with few docs and they told me I don't need a chin implant. But, I don't like the shape and the appearance of my chin and neck. Do I need a submentoplasty??

hello, thanks for your question.The doctors you met suggested you right about not getting a chin implant, it is never a good idea to have foreign material in your facial area due to its increased chances of complications and involved risks. Your have a short chin which is slightly upturned that make you an ideal candidate for osseous genioplasty- the procedure will involve sliding your chin bone downward to give it the desired definition, plus move it to the forward position slightly to enhance your side profile.
