Mini-facelifts are not all the same. A full facelift addresses the neck, jowls and mid-face which usually demonstrate loose skin and sagging muscles. Mini-facelifts do not address most of these areas or have limitations. Hence, to have a natural and rejuvenated appearance it is best to, usually, have a full facelift. Start by having a few consultations with plastic surgeons to obtain information and fees. But remember that not all facelifts are the same. So ask to see before and after photos and have specific details about what is best for your face.
Costs for mini-facelifts vary even in the same geographical area. Factors include where the surgery is performed - office, outpatient surgery center or hospital, how long the procedure will take, experience of the surgeon, and type of anesthesia and who is performing it (RN vs MD), etc.
Just to be clear, a mini-facelift only addresses the jawline, the jowls, and the marionette lines. A mini-facelift does not address the neck, nasolabial or melolabial folds, eyes, or forehead. The fees for a mini-facelift are usually based on time. Some mini-facelifts require more time and cost more, and some are quicker and cost less. The surgical fee for a mini-facelift usually starts around $4,500 and can go up from there, depending on how much work needs to be done. The exact fee is determined at the time of the consultation after the facial plastic surgeon has examined you. Often, a mini-facelift can be performed under local anesthesia in the office and therefore there would be no anesthesia or operating room fees. If more than local anesthesia is needed, then there would be anesthesia and operating room fees, and these fees vary widely.
The cost for surgical procedures, facelift or otherwise, is individual surgeon dependent. The prices vary from one provider to the next based on location, reputation, and what the market will support. You are best to call around your area for prices, review web sites and decide on 2-3 surgeons you want to consult with and feel comfortable with.
The costs for jowl lift like other procedure vary considerably across the country and even in the same area depending on the cost structure. More expensive cities such as New York or Los Angeles, or areas with fewer board certified plastic surgeons may be more expensive than South Florida. Our jowl price starts at $4000 + MD Anesthesia. For the highest standards and cost containment, consult with experienced and expert board certified plastic surgeons who own their own nationally accredited surgery center.Consult with three experienced and expert board certified plastic surgeons to understand your options.
The cost of the facelift is dependent upon many factors which include the surgeon's fee, time in the operating room, and time under anesthesia. Mini- lifts tend to give mini results, so we rarely do them. In our practice, we perform a comprehensive lower face neck lift which addresses tightening the neck muscles in 3 locations, tightening the facial muscles(SMAS) and jowls, removal of fatty deposits in the neck, and tightening loose facial and neck skin. The fees for a facelift will vary from surgeon to surgeon and in different regions of the New York and Connecticut. Best of luck.
The best way to answer that would be a consultation, honestly. Does your neck need some tightening, do your "parenthesis" from your nose to your mouth? In the 10-12 range most probably.
That's a very hard question to answer. There is a wide range when it comes to type of procedure, type of anesthesia, time in the OR, geographic location and surgeon's fee. With all those factors it's nearly impossible to give you an idea of the total cost. The range is probably somewhere around $5000-$15000. Your best bet is to find someone you like and go in for a consultation. Good luck!
Dear Alexis, You don't have a true sagging skin but rather an inadequate volume at the mid cheeks, nasolabial folds and below corners of the mouth. If you are looking for a long lasting result I would go for fat or fat stem cell transfer or permanent filler.
It is the best procedure to address the face. It is a very safe procedure with a very, very low risk of nerve injury. Please make sure the individual is a plastic surgeon who has experience, knowledge, confidence, artistry.I never do intraoral incisions, stopped using cameras many years ago....
