I recently had a pleasure of experiencing a nutritional facial at Dr Stanislaw office and I must say it was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. Bridget who performed the facial was incredible knowledge and skilled. I appreciate the level of care and knowledge she extends while treating my face. I love how my skin is getting that golden glow.. The use of high- quality nutrient rich products during the facial left my skin feeling refreshed and radiant. Bridget facial treatment was very relaxing and my skin never looked younger, Thank you Bridget and definitely see you soon!
I had my facelift 4 weeks ago with Dr. Stanislaw and I'm thrilled with the results. He is a true artist and is highly skilled. The procedure was done in his office (which was my choice) using just local anaesthesia. He is slow and methodical, taking 6 hours, which is what you want! The healing process went exactly as planned. I experienced slight discomfort but no pain (and I have a very low tolerance for pain). I returned to work after 2 weeks. Now that I'm 4 weeks out, I look completely healed and I am thrilled with the results. I look just like my natural self, but with a perfect neckline. I couldn't be happier. What a great decision!I did have bruising and swelling for several weeks. I was in no pain. I went back to work after 2 weeks. At 4 weeks, I look amazing. I'm thrilled with my decision to choose Dr. Stanislaw. He takes pride in his work and the results are so natural.
Dr. Stanislaw is extremely professional & talented. My results after having a face lift were way beyond my expectations. I could not be happier. I love waking up in the morning an feeling happy with my how I look. He has made me feel beautiful again. So many people that I know has told me how great I look and how I haven't seemed to age very much. The most important thing is that I look like myself, only so much younger. I don't look like I had a facelift. I look very refreshed. Dr. Stanislaw was willing to spend lots of time with me answering my questions before the operation. Surgery was done with only local anesthesia in his surgical center. He painstakingly took so much time with the most delicate of stitching, after only 6 weeks incisions already are barely noticeable. His staff was all caring and helpful. My recover was amazing. I was out in public in less than one week with coverup makeup. I have also had other cosmetic procedures by Dr. Stanislaw all with great results.
I am delighted with the results of my facelift. I look like myself, only better. It has been about eight weeks since my surgery and each day I like the results more. I love it. My husband loves it. I couldn’t be happier. My experience with Dr. Stanislaw and his office has been fantastic start to finish. I was very well taken care of and supported by the wonderful group of people in this office. Every single person exudes happiness and caring - they made me feel like a star. Dr. Stanislaw himself is not only a very talented surgeon - he’s meticulous, extremely patient (he explained things to me dozens of times and never made me feel rushed), reassuring, gentle - and honest. All of which makes it easy to place your trust in him. I should mention I’m a first-class nervous Nellie. Even a routine visit to the dentist makes me nervous. I’ve wanted this facelift for a long time, and consulted several plastic surgeons over the last few years. Out of everyone I saw, Dr. Stanislaw is the doctor who actually made me feel comfortable and confident enough to follow through on my desire. The fact that he specializes in facial surgery only gave me confidence as well. I had my procedure done in the office, which turned out to be a good decision. No drugs to get over, no hospital to cope with. I was very well prepared by Dr. Stanislaw and his staff and I knew what to expect - which went a long way toward calming nerves and fears. Everything went beautifully. Recovery proceeded just as I was told it would - relatively quickly and no surprises. I received excellent post-operative care and with every day that passes I love the results more. There are also significant intangibles that make this office special - a happy, caring vibe. You can feel the integrity and commitment of everyone around you and you know you’ve come to the right place. If you're contemplating cosmetic surgery - go to this Doctor. You'll be very glad you did!
I've had one procedure with Dr. Stanislaw. I was so pleased with my results. First time I got a filler and dysport for my "11"lines, the result was amazing. They were finally gone. I will be going back :)
Over the last few years I have been a patient of Dr. Stanislaw. As an energetic fiftysomething career woman I first went because of the sudden appearance of bags on my cheekbones that I found out were festoons. They are notoriously difficult to treat and are unsightly. Dr. Stanislaw told me he could improve them but it would likely take multiple treatments. I had Restalyn injections and medium chemical peels that all resulted in noticeable improvements. I went in recently for my yearly Restalyn Lyft injection and can honestly say I have never looked better. The festoons have all but disappeared and my undereye skin is tighter with almost no lines! My husband says I look the best he has ever seen me. If you want a doctor you can trust for consistently positive outcomes, see Dr. Stanislaw. He is the best and his staff all share his professionalism and compassion.
I’ve been looking for a plastic surgeon for quite a while. As a performer I want to look as good as I can for as long as I can. My difficulty has been a fear of surgery and my concern about finding someone I can trust. I did my homework online, and consulted with several plastic surgeons in my area/state, and finally concluded that Dr. Paul Stanislaw is the best choice. Here’s what convinced me: Dr. Stanislaw is not only knowledgeable, he is also very good at explaining physical and medical realities to uninformed patients. He’s smart, articulate, caring and patient - and also cautious and realistic. I’ve learned a tremendous amount by talking with him - and knowing more makes me more confident about deciding what to do. Additionally - and I think this is important - Dr. Stanislaw only does facial plastics. That specific focus gives me confidence. I began by having him do fillers in my lips, and then moved on to a tricky problem area for me - malar bags, particularly under one eye. If you research malar bags - or if you have them - you’ll see they’re notoriously difficult to treat - and this area of my face has given me much anxiety as I’ve aged. Dr. Stanislaw took a slow, incremental approach to correcting my malar crease and bags with fillers - and he achieved terrific results. I watched the crease and the bags slowly disappeared and I’m absolutely delighted. My husband, who is extremely resistant to the idea of plastic surgery, is also delighted - which is more than I hoped for. His office staff is excellent - friendly and professional - and equally important - genuinely admiring of him and his work. It’s a respectful office where patients are treated well and taken on time. My experience with Dr. Stanislaw and his practice has been excellent, and I plan to schedule a lower face and neck lift with him this fall. My advice is - go see him. He’ll give you good, honest information and you’ll be very happy!
I have never had more fabulous results from these type of procedures. I was looking for great results from a Dr. before & have been to numerous looking for that really great one. I found that in Dr. Stanislaw. (His being so handsome is an added attraction). I am so pleased with the way my face looks.
I cannot say how pleased I was with my facelift and neck lift with Dr Stanislaw. First of all, having listened to my concerns about both general anesthesia and IV sedation, Dr. Stanislaw provided the option of having my surgery in his office with only local anesthesia. Aside from the minor pinch of lidocaine injections, I was fully awake and had absolutely no pain during the surgery. My recovery period at home was very comfortable and I really did not need anything other than Tylenol even the first day. I was up and about by the second day, taking it easy of course, but not at all an invalid! I had four post op visits the first week alone and felt very safe and well cared for by Dr Stanislaw and his wonderful staff, Patty, Debbie and Mona. My confidence in Dr. Stanislaw was well placed, the results are amazing and natural, and have turned back the clock at least 15 years! (I am 72!) The saggy cheeks and turkey neck are gone and cheekbones are back! Aside from his esthetic since and skill as a surgeon, Dr. Stanislaw has a gentle manner, listens well, answers all question patiently and sets realistic expectations. I recommend him highly!
I chose Dr Stanislaw after a long search and consultation with many plastic surgeons. He knows exactly what he needs to do and how he will do it. He explains everything; makes no false promises. I am extremely happy with the result. His entire team is awesome. I also had a facelift shortly after my nose surgery. I highly recommend Dr Stanislaw. I will be returning to his office for further treatments, as they offer many other services as well. Do yourself a favor and check them out!
If you are concerned about your scars, you should make an appointment with your surgeon to be examined. An examination is important, because your surgeon must differentiate between normal post-surgical redness and swelling from keloid scar formation. Keloid scar formation is not common, nor is it rare either. If you are starting to form keloids your surgeon will most likely start treatments for keloids. You most likely do not have keloids, but you should be checked anyway. Everyone heals differently. In some patients, the redness and swelling of incisions go away very quickly. In some patients, the redness and swelling can hang around for months and this can be perfectly normal. There are no magic treatments to make the redness go away any quicker. I do not recommend any scar treatments for my patients, because there are no controlled studies that say any of these scar treatments actually work. So don't waste your money. The most important thing is that you protect the incision sites from the sun. You should use a medical grade sunscreen with Zinc Oxide as an ingredient. The concentration of the Zinc Oxide in the sunscreen should be greater than 9% and you should wear the sunscreen everyday. Medical grade sunscreens use micronized zinc oxide that makes the sunscreen clear and they use formulas that are less likely to cause pimples. If any of your incisions are still not completely healed, you should not put anything on these areas and you should definitely see your surgeon for evaluation. As for raised (swollen) scars. I will have patients gently kneed the scars (do not rub them) after 4 weeks. I do not like to have patients "massage" scars before 4 weeks, for fear of widening the scars. The thing to remember is that everyone heals differently. In your case, it may just take longer for the redness and swelling to go down. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Paul Stanislaw, Jr, MD
Sometimes it is necessary to put a columella strut right next to or on top of the nasal spine. For example, if the nasal tip is off to one side and you need to move it to the midline, it may be necessary to suture the bottom of the columella strut to the opposite side of the nasal spine to get enough support to move the nasal tip. Another example, is if a lot of nasal tip support is necessary. In this situation you can make a notch in the bottom of the columella strut and suture it directly on top of the nasal spine. In both examples, the strut would be sutured to the nasal spine without any intervening tissue. There are some situations where significant amounts of support are not necessary, and in those situations you can have tissue between the strut and the nasal spine. Clicking of a columella strut, although preferable not to have, does not necessarily mean there is a problem. You have eluded to other problems. I would not necessarily recommend a revision just for clicking of the columella strut. However, if there are other issues, than a revision rhinoplasty may be indicated.
Going by your profile photograph you would benefit from a "liquid nose job". However, a thorough examination by a facial plastic surgeon should be performed before any decisions are made. It is important to understand that a liquid rhinoplasty can only fill hollows or depressions, and that it can not take down bumps. In my practice, I use thin hyaluronic acids to perform liquid rhinoplasties. The reason is that they are the easiest to mold and to shape. Hyaluronic acid has the added benefit of being able to be completely removed with a product called hyaluronidase. If you do not like the result or if you later decide to have a surgical rhinoplasty, you can have the product removed.
If your only concern is the appearance of your nasolabial folds, then you should just have your nasolabial folds injected. The major benefit of injecting your nasolabial folds directly is that you will require much less product then if you were to have your cheeks injected. Also, you will have less swelling and less risk of bruising. The exception to this is when there is a significant amount of cheek volume loss. In this situation, if you fill the nasolabial folds it creates an unbalanced appearance and you look like you have a muzzle. Now, if you are concerned about the appearance of your cheeks and nasolabial folds, then I would recommend addressing your cheeks first. Framing your eyes with cheeks that have a gentle youthful convexity has a much greater aesthetic impact then filling the nasolabial folds alone. Once the cheeks are corrected most patients do not see the nasolabial folds as much of an aesthetic concern. Therefore, a small percentage of patients will go on to have their nasolabial folds injected after their cheeks are corrected.
Studies have shown that a very small percentage of patients who receive Botox or Dysport injections develop antibodies. Of note, the studies have also shown that even in the patients who develop antibodies, the Botox and Dysport injections still work normally. So it is highly unlikely that you are resistant to the Dysport. Also, tachyphylaxis (requiring larger doses of a medication to obtain the same effect) has never been reported for either Botox or Dysport. It is most likely that when you forcefully squint, you are recruiting your orbicularis oculi muscle (the muscle that surrounds your eye). This means that even though the muscles between your eyebrows are not moving from the Dysport, you are trying to squint so hard that the muscle over your eye is pushing your eyebrows together. Pushing the eyebrows together creates the "11's", and in this situation a little bit of Dysport needs to be injected into parts of the orbicularis oculi muscle to relax it.You did not state the time frame of events, but another possible answer is that the wrinkles have become embedded in the skin and the wrinkles are present even when the muscles are not contracting. Dysport or Botox will not remove embedded wrinkles in the skin. An injectable filler is needed to lift up and smooth out embedded wrinkles.
