I've lost my lashes completely on one eye! How do I grow them back fast?

I was wearing a mascara I had just boughten (Covergirl Bombshell Mascara). I had a long night and needed rest so I went straight to bed without washing my face. When I woke up, there was a pile of eyelash clumps everywhere that had fallen out! My lid is completely bare and I have an important event scheduled in July. What are my best options for growth?

The eyelash hair cycle can take months depending on the person. Latisse can help speed up the process in lengthening eyelashes - ensure you are careful upon application as you do not want to get this product in your eye. If you don't have eyelashes this may be more of a risk. Also, silica can be taken orally to assist in hair growth. Sorry about your luck.

It is not clear why the eyelashes would suddenly disappear from one side.  I would undergo evaluation by your doctor to ensure that there are no more serious underlying problems present.  With respect to eyelash replacement, given that time frame described it seems that your only option is likely to be a synthetic in nature.  First and foremost though I would undergo evaluation to determine why your natural lashes were lost.  If they were just broken then extensions may be used with success.

This sounds unusual. Why just one side? You should see an ophthalmologist or oculoplastic specialist for evaluation. Temporary, quick solution would be fake eyelash extensions.  Eyelash growing products (ie Latisse) take longer to have effect.

I recomend seeing an eye doctor to make sure there is not something else going on. While you are there you can ask him if it is safe for you to use Latisse. Yikes! I wonder if a severe contact
allergy from the mascara led to the inflammation and subsequent loss of
eyelashes in the area. The only way I know to expedite hair growth in that area
would be to use a product like Latisse, to slowly re-grow lashes. July is going
to be tough, because lashes take several months to grow, but this will be a
great starting point for you.

Also, try nurturing hair growth with
an oral biotin. This metabolite will also help to speed growth in that area.

One night of not washing your face should not have made all your lashes fall out on one side. And if you had an allergy to the product there should have been redness, irritation, etc. on both eyes. You should visit an eye doctor for an exam to see if something is happening. Your best bet given your quick timeframe is to get lash extensions or falsies put on. With Latisse you will start to see some growth at 4 weeks, but it takes 16 weeks for full results. "This answer has been solicited without seeing this patient and
