Does being on Spironolactone affect Latisse results?

I've gone through several bottles of Latisse and it has worked well for me every time. I used it on and off but have always gotten results in as early as 4 weeks. I was off it for a year until I decided to pick it up again over a month ago, at the same time that I was put on Spironolactone (25mg) for my skin. I've been expecting to see a little result from Latisse by now, but I haven't, so I'm wondering if being on Spiro has a possibility of affecting eyelash growth or Latisse in any way. Thanks

The eyelash grow rates can vary depending on where you are in the eyelash growth cycle or if there have been any changes in your hair cycles. Latisse can take up to 3 months to demonstrate any change. Continue use every night consecutively for 3 months and then reassess. Spirolactone should not be interfering with your Latisse results.

Spironolactone blocks and reduces male type hormones. Male type hormones do not impact eyelash growth. Spironolactone should not impact the effect of Latisse for the vast majority of women using the product.

If the Spironolactone is affecting other parts of your body's hair growth, then potentially it could also affect your lashes. This doesn't normally happen, but in order for it to affect eyelash growth and rate of response, it would have to be affecting all hair growth on all body parts, and slowing them all down. If not, then it could just be that you started Latisse in a different period of your lash hair growth cycle than before and even though different lashes will grow at different rates in each cycle, some people do have more in one time period than others so if you started towards the end of one of these cycles, you'd have a longer time til you see results.
