Wrestling after Airsculpt?

Most people are probably not comfortable doing high intensity contact sports two weeks after liposuction.A lot depends on what areas are being treated and how aggressive the procedure is.It’s unlikely you’re going to change the outcomes or develop problems by being physically engaged after the procedure, but most likely at two weeks the areas will still be tender and people typically need six weeks before they can comfortably engage in contact sports. I would’ve told you what your provider instructed you.I typically tell people they can get back to low impact exercise at one to two weeks and six weeks is usually needed for those who do intense running or contact sports.There’s no right or wrong answers and patients receive surgical recovery differently.Many of the people doing, these procedures may not have had the same procedure themselves.We go by feedback from previous patients.I don’t think most people would be comfortable doing wrestling two weeks after Liposuction, but can probably do an elliptical in the gym.Some people are comfortable doing exercise even if it’s uncomfortable after Liposuction and some people don’t feel like doing it.It varies substantially from patient to patient.Best,Mats Hagstrom, MD
