Can heating pads be used to treat fluid buildup after AirSculpt?

Can you use heating pads to help with fluid buildup after traditional lipo or airsculpt? And if heat isn’t allowed then does that mean that Neo emsculpt treatments aren’t allowed either?

I would definitely NOT recommend using a heating pad after any surgery, specifically AirSculpt or liposuction. The fluid should leak out through small ports in the skin made to infuse the numbing solution and remove the fat. Also, the body's natural lymphatic system will remove any remaining fluid over time. A heating pad will NOT help and can burn the skin, which may be numb temporarily following the procedure. Light massage and compression garments usually do the trick! Thanks!

There’s no evidence that ice packs or heating pads improve surgical outcomes or help with surgical recovery.
The main reason why we discourage the use of heat is because people can accidentally burn themselves.
The tissues will be numb after liposuction and patients will be unaware if they are causing a thermal injury.
 The local anesthesia in the tissues prevents the tissues from auto regulating when they heat up.
I’ve personally seen people give themselves third-degree burns of their abdomen because they were numb and couldn’t feel the heat cooking their skin.
Using heat pads after surgery can be dangerous and should be avoided.
Thermal injuries are real and can cause severe mobility.
