I am wondering what the most likely reason for my implant rupture was after only 6 months. I had no severe trauma or anything like that. Mentor, silicone, 350 cc for background. They were replaced 6 weeks ago (for an additional $3,500)

Answer: Breast implant That is odd. You should ask your surgeon to call the manufacturer. They should at least give you your new implants for free. I have found that implant manufacturers often do this to keep their doctors and patients happy

Answer: Rupture You can break anything, including implants. However, rupture at 6 months is usually from trauma from injury or accident, or the surgeon's scalpel or needle. The company can examine your implant, if sent, and see what the tear looks like.
