Stubborn swelling in tip 18 months post op - would a kenalog injection help? (Photo)

Question

I have thick skin and am almost 18 months post-op. It seems that I still have some swelling in the tip but how can I be sure if it’s swelling or if this is my final result? Would a kenalog injection be helpful at this point?

Hello and thank you for your question. It would be helpful to see a front view picture. If you are concerned about the width of your tip then steroids may help. If your concern is the over projection of your tip then steroids will definitely not help and a revision would be better. I recommend that you seek consultation with a qualified board-certified rhinoplasty surgeon who can evaluate you in person.
