How long does SculpSure take to see results?

In general, it takes 6 to 8 weeks to see a result following this procedure. Once the fat cell membranes are destroyed, the fat cell dies and is removed from the body. Continued exercise and drinking a lot of water will expedite this process.

Thanks for your question.  The "party line" is that you will see full results by 12 weeks after SculpSure treatment, but from personal experience at my office, me and my staff members could start to see results as soon as one week later!  (We posted it on our Facebook page.)  We NEVER tell our patients to expect this, because it will vary from one patient to the next, but some patients do see early results that soon.

It takes 3-6 months for final results with Sculpsure. Keep in mind, a combination of treatments is needed for best results with Sculpsure. I recommend combining Sculpsure with Vanquish and Venus Legacy/Exilis Ultra treatments. However, a VASER hi definition procedure would give you the best results with fat removal and shaping for the thighs but would require more downtime. Best, Dr. Emer

The SculpSure laser permanently destroys fat cells using heat, and loss of fat is seen quickly within 6 weeks with full results seen at 12 weeks. This is the time it takes for the body to absorb and eliminate the destroyed fat cells. Many patients need just one treatment to get their desired results. 2 to 3 treatments maybe needed if further fat reduction is desired.

You will see the full results at 12 weeks. However, you can start seeing result as soon as 2 weeks. It takes a full 12 weeks for your body to release the destroyed fat cells and for all inflammation to subside.

It is not unusual to see results during the first 6 weeks of therapy but I encourage committing to 2 sessions 6 weeks apart and your best results will be noticeable between 10-12 weeks.  

It is possible to see results in 2 weeks in the very young, very "reactive" patient, but the older one is, the slower. We suggest 6+week intervals because of the immunological priming that occurs after one treatment, but 12 weeks would be fine also. I do not know of how long this priming lasts, but a year later, it seems to have subsided and new  areas need several treatments again. Comments?
