Can you get BBL to remove brown spots even though you have olive skin?

Dr. wants to lighten skin first w. a combo of things. Says maybe I won't need the BBL. I wanted it yesterday. Is she right?

question.Certain IPL/BBL devices can treat olive skin types, while being performed by a very knowledgeable provider. Settings of these devices vary with skin types and it is important to use the correct settings. There are skincare products and treatments that can be recommended to use prior to IPL/BBL which will improve your outcome. To be sure what is best for you, see two
or more board-certified providers in your area for a complete evaluation to
make sure you are a good candidate and that it is safe for you to have
treatment.
