I take an oral minoxidil tablet and I am getting a lot of unwanted facial hair from the medication and would like to laser it off. Want to make sure it is worth it

This is a great question and I would speak to your primary care doctor to get the clearance to do laser hair removal while taking minoxidil. This is a drug-induced photosensitivity drug which means it can cause counterindications when doing laser hair removal treatments.

First and foremost, see your dermatologist about other ways to increase hair growth (birth control pill, spironolactone, topical minoxidil, PRP injections, low level laser etc) that doesn't result in unwanted facial hair. That said, if you're set on staying on oral minoxidil, then yes, laser hair removal would be safe to do.
