Low Dose Accutane and Laser Hair Removal?

Hello I am a 26 year old female taking 20mg/week of Accutane for oily control. Would it be okay for me to get laser hair removal about 2 days after taking the dose (since accutane has a t1/2 of 24hrs)? I would refer to your primary doctor but in my professional opinion it is not safe to perform laser hair removal treatments on any client who is on Accutane no matter the dose due to it high photosensitive side affect. I could put your accutane treatment first and then do any laser hair removal treatments. Good luck!

Hello, no you should never do laser hair removal on accutane no matter what the dose.  We will not do any laser procedures on anyone that has taken accutane in the last six months it is way too risky.
