A 70 yo male who will be treated by radiation (photon vs proton) is also considering an abdominoplasty following weight loss. Abdominoplasty would be elective while radiation therapy would not. Should the abdominoplasty not be conducted given planning for radiation? Should one or the other procedure be conducted before the other? Which type of radiation (photon vs proton) would be more conducive to a successful abdominoplasty? Thanks
