Considering abdominoplasty and radiation treatment for prostate cancer?

I'm sorry to hear of your prostate cancer. I would not recommend having the two treatments done in the same time frame. Begin with the medically necessary radiation treatments. Once completed and cleared by your oncologist and urologist you can look into abdominoplasty.

Sorry, but the decision corresponds to your oncologist, not your plastic surgeon. If you need to lose fat, then you should try another procedure. Remember that the radiation needs an adequate diet to be successful, and your skin must be in the best condition. Follow your doctor's treatment. Good Luck!
