Does nose swell/bruise for a few days after dissolving nose filler?

When I had my nose filler added (chaeum) my nose was swollen and red for a couple of days after. I had to rest for a day and cover with makeup afterwards. Is it same for when getting the nose filler dissolved?

I believe injections to remove dissolvable filler are less traumatic and require less punctures than if you are undergoing a non-surgical nose job treatment. I hope this helps. Sincerely, Dr Joseph

Swelling can be typical after any type of injection. It can last up to 2 weeks. However, I suggest following up with your injector because it can take a few treatments to dissolve filler. Hope this helps.

Yes, there can be some swelling after getting filler dissolved. It can last 1-2 weeks. Keep in mind, it may take a series of treatments to dissolve filler. Best, Dr. Emer

Hey there - thanks for the question.
When getting fillers dissolved there is always a risk of bruising as a needle will have to go in to the skin. 
Just out of interest - which part of the nose was filled? Be careful if asking to have the bridge area filled as there is a risk of blindness.
