Thank you for your question. Based on your photographs I would be concerned that the V shape on your forehead represents not a protrusion of frown lines but rather an area of atrophy. So my next question is whether you were injecting Botox yourself and if so how many units were you using? It’s very important to always see a board-certified physician for any cosmetic procedures. If this does actually represent an area of atrophy then further injections of Botox would be expected to make the area worse, not better. Another consideration is whether this represents a disorder of connective tissue called localized scleroderma, also known as morphea.
