Is it normal to experience ripples in the stomach after liposuction? Is this due to bad liposuction or is this normal?

Keep in mind, it can take 3-6 months for swelling to resolve with liposuction and up to a year for final results. Some people aren't candidates for liposuction alone, but need a tummy tuck performed at the same time to get a smooth result. For best results, I recommend a hi definition procedure like VASER liposuction. Dear C.Rebel,While there is always a chance for contour irregularities with liposuction, someone who takes their time and uses the appropriate sized cannulas should give you a superb result.I have all my patients wear compression garments and I use multiple sized cannulas to feather out the result. There is some degree of contour irregularity that should be expected with any liposuction technique, however it is generally very mild and not problematic. The results from liposuction seem to get better and better over a 3-6 month period. Best wishes.
