Is bruising/tenderness from Exilis normal?

Whenever
you are using radiofrequency to treat the skin, there can be some areas under
the skin that become hotter than other areas, and hotter than what we all
recommend – and this does happen. As a result, some tenderness and bruising can
occur, and typically if will go away within the first week after treatment. I
would let the clinic know this happened, show them where it happened, and take
precautions there in future treatments. Please consult with a board-certified
dermatologist or plastic surgeon or the equivalent in your country to assure
that you are getting the best possible treatments and outcomes.

No, you're probably fine. The "bruised" feeling you have is relatively common. We have an Exilis machine here in the office and I've had it done and experienced the same sensation you describe. Just point out what you've felt to the person preforming the Exilis and they may adjust the temperature/depth of subsequent treatments.Be sure to stick with the treatments. One session is not enough to get any real benefit. The recommended course is 4 sessions performed at 2-3 week intervals and you really need to have all four done to get the result.
