Considering getting some sort of eye surgery (ptosis and/or canthoplasty). Need advice (Photo)

The most popular ptosis surgery offered by surgeons is the Mueller's muscle conjunctival resection ptosis surgery. Nearly 80% of adult ptosis surgeries are performed this way. I mention it because I do not believe this approach will be right for you. You have ptosis, lateral canthal dystopia, and compensatory eyebrow elevation. The Muellerectomy is modest in its ability to correct upper eyelid ptosis. I do not believe that it is powerful enough to address your concerns. You are likely to need an anterior levator resection ptosis with canthoplasty. There is no substitute for a detailed in person assessment.

Thank you for your question and photographs. Based on the visible photos it does appear that you may have ocular ptosis. However in person examination by an experience professional is a first priority.

If you have ocular ptosis surgical correction is required. A procedure called a Levator advancement is the most common procedure to correct ptosis.

Essentially the levator muscle is unable to raise your eyelid to a proper location because the muscle is either pulled away from the eyelid or is congenitally week.

I suggest that you see an experienced oculoplastic surgeon.
