Hi , i had a chalazian removed yesterday and i don't see any change this morning. She did the cut from outside. And when i woke up i u still have the bump in my eye. It will take time to heel ?

like any other surgery, chalazia removal, also has recovery period. You will have edema and ecchymosis (bruising). be patient, use cold compresses as often as you can adn it will be OK in few days.

Hi. It usually takes a few days to a week to recover after chalazion removal. Occasionally it can take a bit longer. There is usually some swelling and possibly bruising. Your vision may be blurry if you are using an antibiotic eye ointment. Be sure to follow up with your surgeon to be sure that your chalazion was completely removed. Hope this helps.
