I'm Currently on propecia, & recently started Viviscal vitamins. My hair seems thinner on the top more than ever before. I know nothing happens overnight but the loss seems to be greater than before. In an effort to keep positive , and not have it drastically affect my self confidence and overall happiness I'm seeking more effective solutions / options , and if the more advanced options are worth it.

Answer: Hair Restoration Thinning hair follicles are now best treated with PRP (platelet rich plasma) and micro needling with injection. We also now employ nano fat grafting using your fats stem cells for growth. One or the other or a combination can help. Also keep using your supplements. Hope this helps. JB

In addition at that you may be a good candidate for some hair transplants. These need to be done judiciously because you are a younger patient and we need to conserve hair grafts for the most important areas which generally are the anterior hairline. I would recommend that you discuss this with a qualified hair transplant surgeon in your area.

Answer: Hair loss help I'd recommend switching to organic products for your shampoo and conditioner, and to look in to preventative medications like Finasteride and Minoxidil which has been proven to halt and even reverse hair loss. Before starting any medications it is best to check with your physician.

Other options are less effective but can be considered including low level laser and platelet rich plasma. You might wish to speak to your physicians about minoxidil (Rogaine and generics).
