Left eye is more droopy - Am I a candidate for ptosis surgery? (Photos)

Question

I have always felt that my left eye is more droopy than the other, and it looks more hollow than the other one too. Generally, I feel that both my eyes look droopy and "sad", or that they give me a tired appearance. I wonder if this could be because I might have ptosis? I have consulted a surgeon who said that my eyes were normal, that I had very little drooping and that the amount of drooping I had was normal, but I am still unsure and would like more opinions.

From the photo, this appears borderline for ptosis evaluation. The upper eyelids cover the iris slightly, but the image also seems to be taken from a lower angle, so a definitive diagnosis cannot be made from this photo alone.
For the “droopy” or tired eye appearance, canthopexy may be the more relevant option, as the outer corners of the eyes appear to have a downward angle.
A proper examination would clarify whether ptosis surgery is truly needed, or whether canthopexy would better address the eye shape.

It looks like you have a mild ptosis of both upper lids (along with some volume deficiency in the superior sulci).   A ptosis repair would lift the upper lids and might even recruit enough volume to fill in some of the upper lid (superior sulcus).  In addition to a ptosis repair, you might also benefit from adding volume to the upper lids via filler or fat injection.  I recommend you see an oculoplastic surgeon who is a member of ASOPRS.
