Slow Infini healing/grid marks - possible Infini damage, is this correctable?

I had infini done 6 weeks ago for mild acne scarring. The procedure has left me with dozens of grid and pitted marks, in addition to redness. My medical dermatologist (not who did the procedure, is concerned about scarring from the device). These marks looks absolutely awful. I didn’t have any scarring on this side of my face and now it’s covered in what looks like scars. This has been extremely distressing. What should be the next course of action to help remove the marks from infini?

OK- this can be due to carbon build up with the needles, high energy settings, poor technique or idiosyncratic (unknown variable) healing of your skin. Now here is the fix. 1. Protect your skin. SPF daily, no sun. 2. Take base line photos. 3. If you are red, use a gentle laser such as the V BEAM in a very conservative setting 4. Alternative lasers include 1064 nm in the laser genesis mode 5. Heal Lite- 2-3 times a week 6. Review photos monthly - not weekly. You should improve every month. If you still have grids at 4-6 months your dermatologist will use either a Clear and Brilliant or gentle 1927 Fraxel laser. Grids are not uncommon following Infini, however in the majority of cases, they can be fixed. All the best, Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
