Pimples and redness 6 days after Infini, is this normal? (photos)

I had INFINI done 6 days ago. 2 days after treatment i developed several whiteheads and pimples. The swelling is gone but the redness is still present, almost like a bruise, and feels like im developing more pimples. is this the normal course? the PA told me to just put warm compress and whiteheads should resolve. Is this correct?

I recommend getting a formal evaluation with a cosmetic dermatologist for after care. I suggest LED therapy, growth factors, proper skin care. I always combine microneedling with prp and lasers to get the best outcomes. Best, Dr. Emer

I have seen this happen in patients getting Infini for acne scars and patients who have some ongoing acne issues.  They seem to be prone to breakouts after Infini.  You may need acne treatment for the breakout;  topical clindamycin/ benzyl peroxide combo seems to work well and resolve the breakout.  I recommend that you follow up with the person who did it and/or a dermatologist.
