my acne scars are about 16yrs....in 2010 i went to a beautician..my scars seemed to be less shallower and was full of confidence..2years ago i realised the root of my problem was not resolved..it became horrible...i started heavy smoking..r..after 4 tca cross..not much improvements...when i asked him bout surgical subsicion he said we can proceed straight to infini...smoking wise. i have cut down significantly...wad shud i do now..pls advise..thank u..infini

In in my opinion, infini and subcision can be done the same day. We perform the subcision first and then inject with PRP. We then follow it up with infini and superficial PRP. If the tether is from the scars are not broken, infini will not be as effective. Find find an acne scar expert. Ask to see photos.

I'm not sure of the utility of subcision in your case. I would stop smoking period. Even smoking a little bit impairs healing and collagen production. Your results will be significantly impaired. I do think that Infini would be a good treatment for you. In the deeper rolling scars, fillers would be helpful, particularly Bellafill, if available in your country. PRP has proven to be of some benefit. Make sure it is high concentration PRP and it is injected as well as placed on as a mask.
