Porcelain veneer not wrapped to the back properly

See your dentist or cosmetic dentist, so he or she can explain the reason why this particular tooth is not covered like the other veneers, or possibly the wrap was broken. If your veneer was properly prepared and the veneer is bonded to your enamel, you have nothing to worry about, it will not fall off. If there is rough edge bothering your tongue, the dentist can add dental composite to the back, depending on the situation, or polish it off. It is best to address this as soon as possible, since if you got emax veneers vs  regular porcelain veneers, that is rough, this can cause wear to your opposing tooth.

This may or may not be an issue.  If this veneer is done correctly, then you may just need some extra cement removed from that area.  However, if your veneered tooth is in fact under-prepped, you may need your dentist to remove it, re-prep the tooth, then place a new veneer.  It is most likely the first scenario that I presented, but either way, just visit the dentist that did your veneers and ask him or her to simply check the veneer and express your concerns.   I hope this helps.Dr. Sarah Thompson
