I do not think that it is neccessary to sleep sitting up after this procedure although it is a good idea to sleep at an incline with a few pillows behind your head. This will help with swelling. You may also want to have a couple of pillows to rest your arms on.
I do not see any reason to have to sleep sitting up after liposuction during your post-op. General instructions should be given by your doctor.
Sitting up after liposuction is not necessary. Sleeping elevated can help with the symptoms of swelling. You should contact your PS to get post-surgery instruction’s, each practice is different.
