Will I be able to sit on my butt after lipo 360 surgery if they are only shaping my butt? (Photo)

Every surgeon has their own protocol, but if there is no grafting to the buttocks, then you should be able to sit. I would consult with your plastic surgeon on what they recommend for post-operative recovery.Kamran Azad MD, Board Certified Plastic Surgeon

I am not sure what procedure you are referring to but even with fat grafting I allow some degree of sitting on the buttock / I suggest seeing an expert and ensuring what is going to be done wont make you sag because often in this area If you do lipo WITHOUT heating or fat it can sag.  Best, Dr. Emer.

every plastic surgeon has his own postoperative protocol which he recommends to his patients. I would suggest you to discuss this with your plastic surgeon.

Each surgeon has their own recommendations, but based on my experience if there is no transfer of fat from the buttocks then you should be able to sit down. You would consult with your plastic surgeon about what they recommend for postoperative recovery.

Are usually go over postoperative protocols with my patients during consultations.If your plastic surgeon did not I suggest contacting them and asking what their protocol is.If the treatment is only liposuction than sitting is usually less concerned and should be OK.Best, Mats Hagstrom MD
