I noticed an elevated slanted left lower eyelid the day after lower bleph, and an undereye lump (closer to outer third) which persisted beyond 3 months. I went back to see the original surgeon but he said he does not see the asymmetry and nothing was wrong with his surgery. I consulted with another surgeon who palpated my left undereye and suggested that it could be fibrosis from a hematoma during fat pad removal. He advised that I wait for the fibrosis to continue to flatten up until 1 year, and cautioned against scar removal surgery as it's complicated and could yield unpredictable result. Will lower eyelid symmetry return?
