I have rashes on my underarm. Is it safe to undergo IPL?

I have rashes on my underarm and it is on and off. I've already booked an appointment for IPL sessions but i'm worried that my rashes might get worse after and i might scratch it. If it is safe, can i use cream for my underarm? Im using neoderm cream even without rashes

Are you having the IPL done in your underarm? If not, I'd say it's safe to continue, but if you are-then I would wait until you've visited a Dermatologist to treat the rash.Best of luck

No treatment should be done on any area that has a flare up or rash of any sort. Any kind of treatment or laser done on the affected area may make it worse. Make an appointment with your Dermatologist to treat the rash before you do any kind of treatment.

2 points- firstly its unsafe to use IPL if you have active inflammation. Secondly, IPL should NOT be used for hair removal now a days. The use of diode 810 is now proven to be the best form of hair removal or a 755 Alex. IPL can work, but it is outdated. Dr Davin Lim. Brisbane. Australia.
