I have rashes on my underarm and it is on and off. I've already booked an appointment for IPL sessions but i'm worried that my rashes might get worse after and i might scratch it. If it is safe, can i use cream for my underarm? Im using neoderm cream even without rashes

Thanks for your question. I would not recommend IPL on African American skin, and I would not see any doctor who would. What I do suggest to lift hyperpigmented lesions off of darker skin tones in the Pico laser, as it is safe and effective. Best of LuckAnil Shah MD
