Blurry vision after IPL: My skin is totally destroyed. I have had blurry vision and trouble focusing.

Question

Hello, I had 1 bbl ipl treatment . There was no cooling gel, hair tape nor eye protection of any kind, didn't know these were used until I got the records from the derm. My skin is totally destroyed. I hsve had blurry vision And trouble focusing , it seems robber getting worse, no matter how big the object is, I can't focus. Is it possible the ipl did damage to my eyes? Thank you

I'm sorry to hear of your experience. If you haven't already, you should immediately consult an ophthalmologist for a formal evaluation of your vision. It is difficult to assess what is going on with your skin without pictures. For more help from the community with your concerns, please repost with them.

IPL/BBL is used for skin tightening and there are eye shields that patients wear during the procedure. I would definitely consult an ophthalmologist to ascertain what the problem with your vision is immediately.  One BBL should not ruin your skin.
